Position Summary
This position provides and enhances Propel HR's human resources services to clients through developing and maintaining HR processes. Responsibilities include providing oversight for employee new-hire processes and unemployment claims management for clients in addition to supporting HR Service team with HR project work as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports HR team for client new hire onboarding process and client training.
- Assists with drafting and updating client documents (i.e. handbooks, job descriptions and forms).
- Provides HR guidance to clients relating to employee relations, employee corrective actions, terminations and other issues.
- Manages unemployment claim process for clients from initial electronic set-up through employer response.
- Offers research support to HR team for compliance and best practice updates; organizes and maintains internal HR library of resource documents and templates
- Provides reports, analysis, Excel spreadsheets, dashboards etc. to HR team as needed
- Processes employment and wage verifications for clients as needed
- Assists with weekly E-verify audits for client I-9 process; partners with internal team to gather missing paperwork as needed.
- Assists with special projects and responding to client questions/needs as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other business-related field
- 3-5 years HR experience preferred with strong writing skills
- PHR or equivalent preferred
- HR Technical Skills to include HRIS experience; knowledge of Kronos SaaShr preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Cloud, Prezi preferred
