Payroll Tax Specialist, Full Time
Location: Greenville SC
Responsible for all areas of payroll tax filings, including federal, state and local for PEO, multi-entity and multi-state businesses of varying size and complexity. Additional responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly and annual federal and state tax filings; reconciling of tax payments to payroll and general ledger transactions; reconciling of 941, 940 and W-2 forms at year end, resolving tax problems reported by clients or agencies relating to inaccurate or late payments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or other related field required
- Two – Five years of multi-entity, multi-state pay tax filing experience
- Detail-oriented with ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn new software quickly
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Master Tax experience a plus
